Radio
and Communications Radio is a very fun and interesting
project to choose. In the first few weeks after starting, cadets
are taught the basic procedures that are to be used over the
radio. For example, cadets have to learn the Phonetic
Alphabet - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie etc. They are then allowed to
have a go on the radio transceiver based at the squadron. Cadets
are able to speak with the other squadrons in the Middlesex Wing
and sometimes even further a-field. |
